Sofía commenced her academic studies in Law at the Universidad de Zaragoza and subsequently transferred to finish her legal studies at the Universitá degli Studi di Milano.
 
Sofía joined Going Investment in 2002 and is today the Manager of Affiliate Companies for Going Investment Gestión S.G.E.C.R., the fund management unit. 
 
Her professional career began in 1998 as a lawyer with the Studio Legale Contini specializing in insolvency law.

After her work as a former lawyer, Sofía subsequently joined the Elcam company as a Consultant, providing legal and strategic advice to Spanish companies with headquarters in Italy.  While working at Elcam, Sofía spearheaded the creation of a new unit in charge of the creation and development of small companies, including the role of seeking financial support from public administrations as well as aiding in the company set up.
 
At the time of her incorporation to the Going Investment team in 2002, Sofía was already an experienced manager in the early and growth stages of company start-ups. As a result, her initial responsibilities included the management of R&D projects for technology companies, including the structuring of the initial stages for such companies to commence business activity. As a result of her inside knowledge on these companies, Sofía went on to become a manager with broader responsibilities.
