Emilio has been Chief Executive Officer for 25 years of Grupo SAMCA until 2004, one of the most entrenched, family owned industrial groups in the region of Aragon, involved in multiple sectors and industries ranging from mining to agriculture, energy, plastics, textile and construction. The group employs more than 4,500 people and has an annual turnover of over €850 million, covering not only Spain but also France, Italy and Portugal.

Grupo SAMCA is reputed as not only a successful industrial conglomerate but also a key reference in relation to Research & Development within the industries it covers. It boasts some of the most advanced units in the areas of industrial minerals, ceramics, synthetic fibers and plastic polymers. The group is able to develop and nurture ideas and projects from seed to market product placement with admirable success, partly due to the entrepreneurial spirit of management and its owners.

Today the contribution of Emilio to the Going franchise is invaluable, given his acumen of business development in most industries applied to the Going Investment team.
