Gustavo holds a degree in Business Administration (with a major in Finance) from the Universidad de Zaragoza and is currently working towards his Ph. D. in Economics and Management at the same university.

Today Gustavo is a member of the investment analysis team of Going Investment Gestión S.G.E.C.R., the fund management unit. Gustavo joined Going in 2006.

He began his career in the banking industry, working for Banco Atlántico in the Planning and Corporate Development Department where he developed internal consulting projects in areas such as unit restructuring, cost analysis or strategic unit positioning. He also carried out many investment projects and new business opportunities analysis for the bank’s portfolio of industrial holdings.

After working for Banco Atlántico, Gustavo joined a Total Quality Management (TQM) methodology consulting firm where he worked in a variety of process management projects and company assessments using the European EFQM Excellence in Management Model. He gained particular experience in working with the Spanish Savings Banks (the Cajas) during his tenure at the consultancy firm.
